AUSTRALIA READS

— Client Rebrand Brief

BRAND STRATEGY / LOGO DESIGN

Following a client-set brief, this is a rebrand outcome that was developed for client Australia Reads. Having worked closely with the client via Zoom and email, this second-year university project focused on developing branding more in tune with a mature audience.

The problem expressed by the client was current brand colours and graphic imagery not aligning with their desired target audience (Australians of all ages). The Client had expressed that there was an underlying issue with their multi-coloured branding which led to users of their website misunderstanding the organisation’s purpose and questioning if the website was intended for them. To eliminate confusion and alleviate future users’ concerns, the client was determined to find a unique logo fit for them, as well as a brand style and strategy that encompassed their newly envisioned brand values (values such as community, professional, and trustworthiness).

Along with logo design, this project also re-designed the Australia Reads website and introduced relevant merchandise and stationery applications.
